Option 1: Reboot Using the Phone’s Menu

  1. On the phone’s keypad, press the Menu button (the circle button in the middle of the navigation keys).

  2. Use the arrow keys to navigate to Reboot and press Select.

  3. When prompted to confirm, choose Yes.

  4. The phone will power cycle and return to the home screen once the reboot is complete.

Option 2: Reboot by Disconnecting Power

If the phone is frozen or unresponsive:

  1. Unplug the power source:

    • If powered by a wall adapter, unplug the power cable from the back of the phone.

    • If powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), disconnect the Ethernet cable from the phone’s network port.

  2. Wait at least 10 seconds.

  3. Plug the power source (or Ethernet cable) back in.

  4. The phone will boot up automatically.

Expected Behavior

  • The Grandstream logo will appear on the screen during boot-up.

  • The process typically takes 1–2 minutes.

  • Once the reboot completes, the phone will re-register to the network and return to the idle screen.
